This groundbreaking retreat in Kauai will help you find your authentic voice, your true path, and help explore your creativity. We are all creative beings meant to express ourselves in various ways such as: art, writing, launching a new business, music, poetry, and creating a family.

This retreat, hosted in a magical, inspiring, spiritual  environment will help facilitate a deeper understanding of who you are, while we release the noise of our daily world. 

The processes used combine my 10 years of clinical experience, 12 years of theatre background, and my intuitive abilities to extract your unique story and reclaim your truth.

Experiential work including writing, storytelling, & weekly adventures tapping into your own personal exploration of creativity. The concept is that we are all creative & meant to be accessing that aspect of ourselves. Meaning our gifts are innate & we all have a creative vein.

Bio

Tonya Meeks, LMFT has ten plus years as a clinical therapist facilitating individual, groups, workshops/classes, & retreats. She specializes in creativity, relationships, children, & infertility. She has extensive experience in addiction & trauma.

In addition, she has created 4 one-women shows about her relationship with her mother and becoming a mother. Currently creating an interactive show with her 8 month old baby boy Sparrow. New Show Flying Standby: Sparrow Land April 8th 2 pm.

Workshops for Adults and Young Adults

Combining my clinical and performance background in this innovative workshop using story telling, improv exercises, mining for stories that have cathartic process for individualized process working through issues of grief, loss, addiction, or simply to find your creative voice. I believe and now that all of us have a creative vein that we have lost in our childhood. I will work on developing your artistic voice. Even if you feel you don't have a creative bone in your body. This is a myth. If you are curious about finding  new parts of yourself then this group is for you.

This will be a four week process exploring your truth. Finding a new outlet or developing existing creative talents. This group will me Thursday evenings 6-8 pm.

Toddlers 3-5 years old

I will provide a toddler group called Telling the Truth on Stage using my understanding of child develpment, clinical training, performance background to provide innovative approach of exploring imagination and creative outlet with a depth that most toddler groups do not provide.
